Crafting a Timeless Identity for Maison La Lorraine
For over 85 years, La Lorraine Bakery Group has built a reputation for craftsmanship and quality in the bakery industry. Created to make premium pastry accessible to a wider audience, Maison La Lorraine combined artisanal heritage with everyday convenience. As competition on shelf intensified, the existing identity no longer reflected the warmth, quality, and modern character of the brand. Maison La Lorraine needed a timeless refresh that could reinforce its heritage while strengthening its visibility in retail environments.

We recognised that consumers are increasingly drawn to brands that feel authentic and handcrafted, while still expecting clarity and consistency in their shopping experience. The challenge was to create an identity that captured the charm of a local bakery while maintaining the strength and recognisability of a modern retail brand. To answer this, lielens developed a renewed visual identity built around warmth, simplicity and craftsmanship. The redesign included a refined logo respectful of the brand’s heritage, the introduction of the signature line “La tradition nous inspire” and a complete packaging system balancing elegance, appetite appeal and clarity. The visual language was extended across every touchpoint, from POS materials to bags and stickers, creating a cohesive and recognisable brand world.

The result was a refreshed identity that repositioned Maison La Lorraine as both premium and approachable. The new design system brought greater consistency and shelf impact while reinforcing the brand’s artisanal roots and modern ambition. Through a more distinctive and timeless presence, Maison La Lorraine now expresses the authenticity, warmth and quality that define the brand experience.
